If you have a complaint about a SHARE adviser please contact the adviser direct in the first instance. Each SHARE adviser has a formal complaints process. If you feel your complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction by your SHARE adviser, then you should contact their independent dispute resolution provider, which in most cases will be the Financial Dispute Resolution Service (www.fdr.org.nz).
The FDRS is a free and independent service for settling disputes between consumers and the organisations and people that provide them with financial services.
