Outside work I am actively involved in Surf Life Saving and I am a Life Member of New Zealand’s oldest club, Lyall Bay. In 2008 I was awarded a Service Award by Surf Life Saving New Zealand.

My favourite place to recharge my energy is on the beach with warm water and a nice surf. Furthermore, I also really enjoy being a football nut and play for the ‘Seatoun Originals’ Masters team, a keen member of The Phoenix and since 1972 following the Wolverhampton Wanderers.
