Sonja joined SHARE in May 2016, however, she has been adviser within the Financial Service industry since 2000. Sonja is originally from Germany but has been in living in New Zealand since 1985.

Sonja’s main focus is personal risk insurance, she can give advice on KiwiSaver and Booster investments as well as helping with the application process. Mortgages and Fire and General Insurance can be referred to her trusted Partners. Additionally, she is a  facilitator for the commission of financial capabilities and has experience in ACC planning.

Sonja’s personality and attitude are characterised as being enthusiastic, bubbly and down to earth. She has a genuine passion for people’s wellbeing and feedback from her clients gives desirable attributes to her competent outspoken manner that propels her to provide real insurance solutions and plans for her clients, now and into the future.

Sonja has been complimented on her efficient listening skills, genuine personality and ability to relate and adapt to the various diverse personalities or situations that clients bring.

She knows her clients personally and professionally, and dedicates herself as a financial adviser on behalf of THEIR insurance needs and NOT the insurance company’s needs.

She voluntarily gives her time and advice to organisations who aid people as a way of giving back to society.

Sonja is a Justice of the Peace, involved with the Migrant Connections Taranaki Charitable Trust as chairperson and a Director for Habitat for Humanity New Plymouth. She values integrity and honesty and admires perseverance in people.
